Case Study – Athré Facial Plastics (Aesthetic Surgery, YMYL)
Challenge:
The client’s website was underperforming in search visibility and lead generation for high-value surgical procedures. Design was outdated, content hierarchy unclear, and core service pages lacked strong SEO foundations.
Approach:
- Conducted a comprehensive SEO & CRO audit in early 2024.
- Delivered an action plan covering technical fixes, content restructuring, improved internal linking, and more compelling patient-focused copy.
- Recommendations were later implemented by the client’s new web agency during a full site rebuild in late 2024.
Results (post-implementation):
- Significant increases in organic traffic for target procedures.

Challenge:
Recover from a major traffic loss after Google’s 2018 Medic update and re-establish E-E-A-T in a competitive medical/legal information market.
Approach:
- Partnered with the University of Illinois Chicago’s Drug Information Group to secure 12 PharmD-level reviewers.
- Added bios and review attributions to ~100 key health and mass tort pages.
- Updated review process to match top-tier health publishers like WebMD & Healthline.
Results:
- 470% YoY organic traffic growth from Dec 2019 to Nov 2020.
- SQLs up 6%, total customers up 25%.
